To Install Zoom for Apple iPhone, iPad and Mac devices:

To install Zoom for Android Devices:

To install Zoom for Other devices:

You will be sent a Google Classroom Link which will include your Zoom link and all your training materials and assessments.

Only 10 people can be in the “virtual classroom” for the course, and just like a face-to-face classroom course it’s expected to take the same time to complete (7 hours).  You must be ready to start the session at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session to provide the trainer your ID components in a “breakout room”.

You must be on Zoom for the whole time, this means that the trainer MUST be able to SEE and HEAR you for the duration of the course. This is the same as a face to face class, you will be asked questions and have to demonstrate your knowledge. If you leave the session for any length of time or are unresponsive, the trainer will remove you from the session and you will need to reschedule the session.

White Card Course Sydney | Course Content

The content of the course is delivered by a WorkSafe NSW approved trainer from their computer and web-cam, and also uses PowerPoint style learning aides just as it would in a physical classroom, and also you will be provided access to a downloadable Student Learner Guide which will provide you with the detailed course content so you can follow along.

On entry into the Zoom classroom you will be required to show your 100 points of ID to the trainer for verification.  This will be done in a “break out” room to maintain your privacy.   Failure to supply your ID will result in your removal from the classroom and you will be required to reschedule for another available session.

White Card Course Sydney | Assessment

The assessment for the course is in three (3) parts:

Knowledge Assessment:

  • You will complete a series of written knowledge assessment activities throughout the day.  You can will access this via Google Classroom and it will give you real time results

Short Answer Assessment:

  • You will complete a series of short written assessment activities and similarly you will access this via Google Classroom and feedback will be provided by the trainer assessor immediately.

Verbal and Practical Assessment:

  • During the Connected Real-Time Delivery session, you will be required to complete a verbal assessment and undertake practical activities (such as correctly fitting PPE) with the trainer/assessor in an individual ‘break-out’ session.
