I have worked across the hospitality industry over the last 20+ years, starting as an apprentice chef and moving across the back of house and front of house roles. I have also worked within operations and venue management roles of large scale hotel venues across Australia specifically working within the high end service and product based venues including multiple awarded venues. On top of this a continuous stream of study has enabled myself to deliver current and specific industry education across multiple streams of the vocational sector. I hold an advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management and Wine and Spirit Education Level III. My work within the vocational education sector and understanding the needs of the hospitality industry, has enabled myself to have witnessed first hand the need for greater diverse pathways to this vibrant industry. Many diverse demographics miss opportunities to gain life skills through these existing channels. Hospitality and the Vocational industry's target demographic is tailored to bridge that gap, educating the hospitality professionals of tomorrow, today.
