General Pest Management Course in Melbourne

The General Pest Management Course consists of three units of competence:

Each unit of competence is from the Certificate III in Urban Pest Management qualification CPP30119.

The General Pest Management Course is delivered at our Port Melbourne training centre and is designed to provide new or experienced Pest Control Technicians with the basic knowledge and skills to become a licensed Pest Management Technician.

After completing all training and both written and practical assessments, you will receive a “Statement of Attainment” which can then be submitted to your government licensing office to receive your Pest Management Licence.

Pest Management Course | Duration

The General Pest Management Course duration is a total of 10 Days in Duration.

The course requires attendance in the following:

  • Five Days classroom-based theory course include theory by way of engagement with the trainer and learning materials, as well as written assessments and practical assessment;
  • Three Days practical experience observing and working with a licensed pest management technician, and;
  • Two Days practical assessment workshops offered by Short Courses Australia, which forms part of your summative (final) assessment.
