Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee Courses are delivered face to face in a classroom setting in our purpose-built coffee training rooms across Melbourne.
This course includes the national unit SITXFSA005 Use hygienic principles for food safety.
This (18) eighteen-hour* course applies to any hospitality organisation that serves espresso coffee beverages, including cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, function and event, potential job outcomes can range from:
- Barista's
- Waitpersons
- Bartenders
- Food and beverage attendants
- Hospitality management
- Event staff
- And any other applicable positions within the industry
This course also applies to espresso machine operators who operate with some level of independence and under limited supervision.
Please note: Complex repairs of equipment would be referred to specialist service technicians.
Completion
Upon successful completion of this 18 hour coffee course, you will receive a certificate with the national unit of competence SITHFAB025 Prepare and serve espresso coffee as well as a SITXFSA005 Use hygienic principles for food safety certificate.
Successful Students can use this nationally accredited course as credit for further vocational education.
Once enrolled you will receive the SITHFAB025 prepare and serve espresso coffee Course Learner Guide.
