Achieving a Unit 3 - 4 Sequence from VET

VCE VET PROGRAM

A minimum of 360 nominal hours of training is required for any VCE student to achieve a Unit 3 -4 sequence:

Completion of 180 nominal hours in any VET certificate II or III, then move to another certificate II or above in the same industry and complete an additional 180 nominal hours in:

  • a VCE VET Program (VE1) that provides a unit 3 and 4 sequence; or
  • an School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship (SBAT) (VE2);
  • an (VE3) other VET qualification st Certificate III level.

Short Courses Australia offer 180 nminal hours in the Certificate II in Hospitality. 

Students can enrol at our Melbourne Campus or a Secondary School can select to Host a VCE VET Program at your Secondary School.

Each program contains recommended structured workplace learning that is supported by our JOB CAMP learning module for secondary students.
